July 9, 2012: 17 miles. Finished up section between Sonora Pass and Ebbetts Pass with Benton. Rested midday at Ed and Fran's trail magic spot at Ebbetts Pass and then continued on, without Benton, with the next arranged meeting place with Ed and Fran at Echo Summit.
