On top of the world. Freestyle and Hannah enjoy reaching Mt. Whitney's summit.
Mt. Whitney has an elevation of 14,505 feet. Interestingly, it is only 85 miles from the lowest point in North America, Badwater in Death Valley. To the west of Mt. Whitney is
Sequoia National Park. Mt. Whitney's summit is at the south end of the
John Muir Trail. Quite the area of extremes in elevations, geology, views, trees, no trees, hot, cold, wet and dry. Not to mention spectacularly beautiful.
